At Corbinsbere Gundogs we recognise that every puppy needs socialisation, in our sessions we also build the foundations of obedience through play and social interaction. Sessions run monthly from 12 weeks of age up until 6 months old with an emphasis of starting more formal training at 6 months. All sessions £10.

On Getting your puppy my top tips............

Take time bonding, teach its name and recall as your top priority as soon as you pick your puppy up. You will always want your dog to come back to you.

The first week should see your pup running back to you on the recall then start a retrieve a tennis ball is retrieve. A couple of short bursts a day calling it back to you as a recall. Take your time taking the ball dont grab it, fuss and praise your puppy first!

Get your pup used to a lead as soon as you can.

Out on a walk keep your puppy close be unpredictable chop and change direction encouraging your puppy to follow you praising when it catches up. Dont keep it on a lead all the time.

Junior Obedience and Gundog Classes

Group classes for 6 month old gundog breeds, covering basic obedience, retrieving, hunting, shot and game in preparation for the shooting field. A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 per group. Each Class £10
