**MINOR BREEDS GUNDOG GROUP**

Sunday 22nd January 11.30 for Novice dogs. The group will be suitable for dogs with good basic obedience, whistle and hand signals underway and retrieving started. The class will see you train your dog on a step by step basis ready for the shooting field.

Group training is offered for a number of participants across Dorset and Hampshire. Corbinsbere Gundogs has access to a variety of training ground for groups including open fields, woodland, heavy cover, ponds and rivers. There are many benefits to training in a group scenario for both dog and handler including socialisation, steadiness and working with distractions. Gundog Training Groups are run throughout the year and can be joined by handlers at all stages of development.....

Regular Gundog Groups are run every two weeks on Saturday mornings (out of season) Sundays (during season) and Wednesday evenings throughout the year. Depending on you and your dogs experience puppy, novice, intermediate and advanced classes are available. The groups are up to a maximum of 8 per session to ensure you are getting the best out of your dog in a group scenario. The classes are run as a continuous course covering basic obedience, retrieving, hunting, introduction to game and gun shot. You and your dog are assessed every 8th session with a fun group test to monitor your progress. For regular participation sessions are £10 per session.

Gundog Groups An opportunity to prepare your dog for the shooting field. The groups are designed for handlers and dogs at all levels progressing to the highest standard of training. Classes will include basic obedience, ultimate steadiness, directional work, introduction to game, shooting over your dog on rabbits, pigeons and during the season pheasants, duck and partridge.
